The Crown Prince of Norway's Wedding: HRH The Crown Princess of Norway

Ahhh ... perfection! Some may have questioned Mette-Marit's suitability as a royal spouse, but she looked every inch the Nordic princess at her wedding. And the Diamond Daisy Tiara complemented the look perfectly. Magnificent!
I love this whole ensemble, and it was a brilliant bit of political dressing as well - the simplicity of it suggests the whole 'leaving the wild days behind her' thing. And what a wonderful asset she's been to the family since then. Good on Henrik for standing firm!
Or Haakon even!!
I have a great love for Mette-Marit in general and she just lookd great on her wedding day. THe dress and tiara are lovely, but her happiness is just radiating and that's what matters.
Mette-Marit was such a beautiful bride, and what I like most is that she went for such a simple, almost informal dress, as opposed to quite a lot of the stiff heavy ones other royal brides seem to go for. I really like the soft fabric and the way the veil catches the breeze. The tiara is also minimal, but just right for the dress.
It seems odd that she could ever have been considered a bad choice as a CP - she is an absolute star for Norway now isn't she - they struck lucky with her!
Aww she looks so happy! And gorgeous!! Love the tiara too. She looks so simple. Perfection is the right word!
possibly one of my favourite royal brides ever - the dress was stunning because it was so simple and the tiara matched the style perfectly. Even the unusual trailing bouquet was unique and different. Mette-Marit shone on her wedding day and continues to be a bright shining light for Royalty in Norway and across the globe
I loved the dress (it's my favourite) and the flowers. The tiara was simply perfection. Stunning.
Mette-Marit was an absolutely stunning bride. The dress and tiara were perfect for her. A wonderful nordic princess.
I thought I should point out that Mette-Marit actually wore a tiara at the government pre-wedding dinner. Even though it was worn as a necklace. It was Maud's Vifte Tiara.
There's some information and more images at this site, including some photoshopped ones from the German tabloids.
As I apparently messed up one of the links, I'll try again, and
I'll include a link to an article with a picture of the couple walking to the dinner.
