The Crown Prince of Denmark's Wedding: HRH Princess Laurentien

She's sort of hiding behind Máxima, but Laurentien is giving us an excellent example of the versatility of the Dutch royal jewel collection with her tiara choice for the wedding.  She's wearing a secondary setting of the Dutch Emerald Parure Tiara, replacing the emeralds with pearls which are (I think) the spikes that can be attached to the Württemberg Ornate Pearl Tiara.  How nifty!

(And I love that she's wearing it lower over her forehead, almost '30s style.  It's really flattering.)

Goodness - she looks almost sane! I really like how she's wearing this, it does suit her.

The rest of her hair would be fine, but that heavy fringe doesn't work for me. Like the versatility of this tiara and what they have done with it - I wish our lot would be a bit more adventurous.

I seem to remember this outfit has crazy cape like sleeves... She is a one is old Laurentien eh.

Way too much fringe, definitely. Otherwise, a very nice tiara.
