Here's a tiara that I doubt we'll be seeing again at royal events: the Marichalar Meander Tiara, which was apparently given to Infanta Elena by the family of her ex-husband, Jaime de Marichalar, as an engagement present. Elena wore this tiara to her wedding, and she used it almost exclusively during her marriage. It's a lovely tiara -- though it's hard to see that here -- but I can't imagine she'll want to continue wearing it now that they're divorced.
What do all of you think: would you wear jewelry given to you by your ex-spouse's family after a divorce?

If it looked like that, hell yes!
Bit difficult to focus on the tiara when she's wearing a giant pink kimono over some kind of nightie. I agree with you, though - we probably won't see this one again. If I had access to other tiaras like she does, I wouldn't wear something with that history again either.
Boy, I agree with Shannon about the 'kimono over a nightie' look...I wouldn't have even noticed she was wearing a tiara is you hadn't said so!
Oh dear lord, what on earth is she wearing? Forget the tiara, look at her clothes! My eyes!
hee, hee, kimono over a nightie!
a very nice tiara, and an impressive brooch.
i really like the colors of her coat, but not with the nightie.
What the hell is she wearing. It is indeed a kimono over a nightie - she looks a bloody sight.
Tiara looks fine, bet she doesn't still have it, but her daughter will no doubt get it.
I know it might be a bit cruel... but I have always thought poor Elena has a bit of an unfortunate face...
The woman looks a bloody mess.
The tiara is very nice, though.
Goodness. Do Stacy and Clinton do Spainiards?
I doubt she will continue wearing this tiara, unless she feels that Jaime wouldn't mind. Hopefully her daughter will wear it someday.
