The Crown Prince of Denmark's Wedding: HRH The Grand Duchess of Luxembourg

Maria Teresa's got another floaty dress for the Danish wedding, and she's topped it off with the Aquamarine Bandeau Tiara, which was made for Maria Teresa's mother-in-law, the late Grand Duchess Joséphine-Charlotte.  This picture really doesn't do it justice -- it's really a great piece, with bright, clear aquamarines interspersed with diamonds.  Very deco!

Wait, could it be? Is Maria-Teresa actually wearing a dress I aprove of? Yes, it is. Pardon me while I faint from shock.

A v-neck would be more flattering to her splendid bosom, and the embroidery on the sleeves does nowt for her, but a good attempt overall. The tiara is lovely.

Love the dress, and the tiara goes with both the dress and the elephant order. I'm very much impressed.

Skin-coloured clothes frighten me a bit. You are not sure if you're looking at skin or fabric. Too exhibitionist for my taste...
I'm not even sure about the pattern... If one would describe it I would say "Oil on water" or possibly "Blinged Batik"... But with a different base colour I would give it a pass.

Yes, I was a bit worried with the dress - it looks like it might be seethrough, I didn't want to look too closely in case I saw a bit more of MT than I hoped for.

Tiara great, but a bit lost inside her do.

The dress isn't too bad. If it was given a lower neckline, it would be alright. I agree, James, the tiara is sadly lost in her barnet.

Nice general effect. She looks happy, and so does he.
