Official Tour of Canada: HRH The Duchess of Cornwall

Official Tour of Canada: HRH The Duchess of Cornwall (11 Nov 2009)

Camilla observed Armistice Day in Ottawa this year amid the official tour of Canada she's undertaken with Prince Charles.  And she chose what I think is her best "memorial" hat to do so -- it's actually the same one she wore last November 11th to mark the 90th anniversary of the Armistice in France.  This year she's added the cap badge of The Rifles, which she wore recently as a hat adornment as well.

Love it.  The flower's audacious but not ridiculous, and the netting wrapped around the beret looks really elegant.  Bravo!

Camilla seems to go in for this style. It's not unattractive on her. I also like the high fur collar, although I think it makes her look somewhat elderly. Perhaps it's just the somber look.

she has repeated hats, dresses and coats this visit to Canada, very disapointing , even if she is playing the 'frugal' card.

I'm not a fan of berets per se, but I loved this look on Camilla last year (thought she looked better than both Carla Bruni-Sarkozy and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg) and I still love it this year.

Yes a nice hat - but as Meridee says, she has repeated oft reapeated outfits on this trip - and it's all been a bit, well, brown (and navy and dark green!) Why can't she rock some vibrant colours - repeat the fabulous purple from the state visit - she'd get picked out in the crowd much more!!

Quite a nice hat, reminds of the one from the other day. Poppies would have been better off alone; brooch didn't go well. She could use a hand from a plastic surgeon for those lip lines..a bit of filler, perhaps?
