bringing you the very best in ridiculous royal hats

One too many colors on the bow and one too many brims on the hat. Definitely not my favorite. But then, to be fair, I'm probably not totally up to date on my "palm tree planting" hattery etiquette.

I would rather think that it is a requirement to wear this hat whilst in Bermuda...but, especially to "plant a palm tree"! For some reason the entire outfit is making me think of a Skittles candy commercial. "Taste the rainbow" LOL!
I think the outfit is alot worse than the hat and it reminds me of the fussy fashions she wore in the 1980s and 90s
I have no objection to the hat itself, but I would prefer it with a different outfit. That pattern is just too overpowering. the hat would probably be very nice with a tamer dress/coat combo.
It's just all a bit too much isn't it? Such a shame after her recent triumphs.
Her brooch matched at least. Too busy and don't care for dark gloves.
Why did she have to wear that awful outfit? I like the hat, but the skirt/jacket combo is making me sick.
No, no, no....I feel like I'm in Candy Land!
I like the hat. And I like the skirt/jacket combo. But together? No!!!
I love the colours on this outfit and hat...because I'm all about pastels, me. LOL
..but it is fearfully busy.
I think the hat would look great with a plain outfit in one of those shades.
Without the multi-coloured bow I think she could have gotten away with this, but together it's a bit magic-eye picture. Do like her in blues though.
There's WAY too much going on here. Lil looks her best in simpler things.
