An early Christmas treat: it's Zara Phillips, out at a wedding in Canterbury, wearing a lovely fascinator! I quite like this one, with its silvery color and the interesting shape and embellishments. But if it looks a little familiar, it's because it has been seen on one of the Windsor women before:

Here's Autumn Kelly joining the royals for Easter at Windsor just before her 2008 wedding to Zara's brother, Peter, wearing the same fascinator. I suppose that the sisters-in-law who hat around together stay together? ![]()

While I love Autumn, I think Zara wore it better because she didn't cover her face as much with the fascinator.
Good eye!
Very cute. But, Zara, why did you wear black to a wedding??
I was wondering also why she wore black. Maybe it was a black and white wedding and she was just keeping the theme. Perhaps her dress is white or whitish, can't tell from the photo as she is covered up almost to the chin.
Good memory !I am surprised by the fanytastic resemblance of Autumn and Zara on these photos. It is difficult to say who is who.
I did a google search and found a full shot. Her dress is black with a bold red and white pattern.

Yes, you're quite right, chesney. Thank god she didn't wear black!
But Peter- oh my gosh. The hat would be fine if he was camping, but at a wedding???
I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and guess that he took the hat off before he went into the church.
Didn't like it on Autumn, don't like it on Zara. I think this one just looks a bit cheap.
Not my cup of tea, although Zara wears it better, with the point angled away from the jaw.
I think this looks a damn sight better on Zara than on Autumn. In my opinion, Mrs Peter Phillips is a bit too mousy to pull off such a loud piece of hattery. Zara has enough personality and style to carry this fascinator. I quite like it.
I don't love nor do I hate it. But I do like the angle that Zara choose better than the way that Autumn wore it.
Yes, Zara definitely wears it better. I guess she has more experience in wearing fascinators!
Unreal that they would share a headpiece - guess we know who really owns it.
Still looks silly.
The look on Autumn face is so serenely beautiful, she would look wonderful in anything she wore. What a great shot!
