Nobel Prize Awards Ceremony: HRH The Crown Princess of Sweden

Nobel Prize Awards Ceremony: HRH The Crown Princess of Sweden (10 Dec 2009)

It's another Tiara Alert from the annual Nobel Prize awards ceremony in Stockholm: this time we have Crown Princess Victoria wearing the Diamond Six Button Tiara.  You can read more about it and its sister tiara, the Diamond Four Button Tiara, right over here.

I really wish she'd worn her amethyst tiara with this outfit instead -- Victoria is stunning in this shade of purple, and the rest of the amethyst jewelry looks amazing.  But for me, anything's better than a button tiara (shudder).

(P.S. -- I see you back there, Carl Philip!  How's it going, handsome?) :)

I actually quite like the button tiaras. I find that they are much simpler (if that's possible) than other tiaras. But I think that CP Victoria's could be a little shorter.

*sigh* the Swedish kids are just the sexiest royals on the block aren't they - I fancy 'em all!

Back to the tiaras... I don't hate the six button jobbie so much, and I think Vic wears it well. I normally hate the four button, but by burying it in her hair Mads makes a decent job of it. I still can't help thinking if they were combined into one great big clanking tiara it's be much better though.

Don't mind the buttons, i agree that the big problem is this silly base ...
