Nobel Prize King's Dinner: HRH The Duchess of Hälsingland and Gästrikland

When I looked at the full-length photos of Princess Madeleine and her dashing fiancé, Jonas Bergström, at tonight's Nobel King's Dinner, I wasn't sure that Madeleine had worn a tiara at all.  The horror!

... but in this side view shot, it becomes clear that she's wearing the same Diamond Bandeau Tiara that big sister Victoria wore in her hair for last year's Nobel awards ceremony.  Phew!  It's a Tiara Alert after all!

I really like this ornament with the elaborate hair styles that the Swedish royal ladies like to wear.  They know how to do tiara hair, don't they?  This looks elegant and lovely for a princess.

Now I can't wait to see which tiara she chooses to wear when she marries Jonas -- for more on reports that the wedding may be less than a year away, head over to Royal Romance! :)

Oh my lord her hair is stunning!!! Maybe a bigger tiara would have been too much? (if that's possible in tiara land)

I love the Princess's dress too!

PS. I think she's beaten the Princess Alexandra longest-title wise.

Fabulous hair. She doesn't really need the extra height of a tiara, and all those diamonds must have looked amazing just sparkling away.
