Another Tiara Alert from the Vietnamese state visit to Spain: here's Princess Letizia, wearing the Prussian Diamond Tiara, another repeat. She wore the same sparkler during the state visit from Lebanon back in October.
I still wish she'd rethink her tiara hair with this one. I think it would look infinitely better with an updo, or at least without this very severe middle part and her hair in her face.

Hello ! I am just discovering your blog and I will be happy if I may join you. Sorry for may bad English, it is not my mother language.
Letizia's tiara is her bridal tiara and the one is wearing more. Usualy, Sofia is wearing a most important tiara for state visit.
Did she listen to your lovely readers and ditch the safety pin? (and I agree on the center part!)
I think the verdict is well and truly delivered. This tiara needs an up do. And Letizia needs another tiara as well!
Why is she wearing a fleur-de-lis?
Good question, Ursula! It's on the Spanish Coat of Arms, because the fleur-de-lis is the Bourbon family's crest. The current Spanish RF is a branch of the Bourbons.
I reall yhate that tiara, but I ADORE Letizia's hair.
Letizia is gorgeous...I wish she wouldn't wear black, though. Black should be reserved for funerals and memorials, in my opinion.
This is my favourite style of tiara - very art deco. But I'll give my vote to the up-do party. And she is so thin! It's a state banquet, tuck in!!
I read that the Spanish royal ladies wore their less spectacular tiaras (imagine that there is such a thing in one's wardrobe) out of respect for the less wealthy key guests.
I love this woman, she could wear a flowerpot on her head and still look stunnig!
