The Peach Fuzz hat is out and about again today. This hat is not growing on me, Hatters. It's fine and all, I suppose, but I don't love the color or the texture this time around. I'm not sure why I liked it so much better last time HM wore it. Oh, hattery tastes, you are so fickle...

I think it's just that it is so wrong for a really cold winters day, and also she had it on with black boots and her black bag, and they just don't seem to look right with it. I still love it - but pop it back in the wardrobe until April Lilibet!
I don't mind the style of the hat, it's the colour I don't like. It makes her looked washed out especially coupled with the coat.
This probably came under the heading 'warmest thing I have with me'. I imagine the fuzzy bits are quite cozy
I don't mind the handbag, gloves or black boots (in fact I love the boots). However, I do agree that the colour isn't great.
And didn't she wear this last winter? I'm sure there's a picture of our Lil trooping to church in the snow wearing this ensemble (sans the fabulous boots - still, better late than never, eh Betty?)
Imagine this in a royal purple. (Purple cures every hattery colour disaster, doesn't it?)
You know it does in my book, Eliza!
SirTom - indeed - you are on the ball as ever.
http://madhattery.royalroundup.com/?p=314 She trooped this number out for church at Sanders last year, I don't know why, but it seemed more right then - I think it may have been a bit later (actually - only a month!)
Don't get me wrong - love the accessories, but black is just not right with this shade of peach. I do wish she would stray into grey, brown or navy accessories wise instead of the constant black or white. But I know I know... they're her signature. Just with some outfits, they are not quite right.
