One more crown princess this evening ... it's Crown Princess Mary, who apparently read our blog conversation about the Midnight Tiara earlier this week and decided to bust it out for us!

The Midnight Tiara was designed by Charlotte Lynggaard for the Danish tiara exhibition in 2009, making it one of the newest royal tiaras on the block. It’s made of silver, pink gold, diamonds, and moonstones. It’s so modern and unusual, but still really gorgeous. I love it!
Also, just because I thought it was amazing, here's one more picture of Mary and some of her fellow crown princesses:

So we've got the future monarchs/consorts of The Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and Denmark here. Pretty cool!

WOW!!!! She looks like a complete goddess. Just...perfect.
The group shot is the one I mentioned in the post below. *sigh* The look like proper fairy-tale characters.
What a stunning tiara. I love the unusual shape and stones. Mary's frock is to die for. As are those of all the princesses.
God, that picture is stunning. The whole lot of them are perfect. Perhaps it's just as well their British counterparts weren't present. I think Chas and Cam would have ruined the line up of future monarchs a wee bit.
Seeing her in this tiara again makes me wonder whetehr it has been purchased for Mary and was not a loan as originally thought
Three different tiaras over the past 3 days from Mary - gosh what a treat for Royal watchers
INteresting the dress is a repeat that was firts worn at her engagement dinner in Oct 2003 and a few days ago we saw the stunning red pre-wedding gala dress. Great recycling Mary
Alison, I'm wondering the same thing - seems odd she would borrow the same tiara twice, maybe it is her property now? While I prefer something a little more sparkly, our Mary deserves all the tiaras she can get!
Ha ha, yes indeed they would have, Sir Tom! Now, if only Wills and Kate got married, then this photo would be amazing!
And by the way Ella, is that mop of brown hair perhaps Carl Philip?
Yep, I believe that's him, Eliza!
Oh WOW! This must mean she owns it - I am sooo excited (Perhaps too excited I fear).
This tiara is fabulous, and trust Mary to pull off such a new twist on it, it's not all out bling, but is modern, fresh, funky and just... ahhh... lovely!
And the pic - am I alone in wanting to play? Perhaps we should have a mad hattery weekend for Ela's next birthday and all wear... well, I've got a straw hat I could don!
I am rather miffed about the lack of Brits - okay we are under a biblical cloud of ash here, but there are boats! I cannot help wondering if they were going anyway - and we'd probably only have sent Ed and Soph anyway. Sigh.
Re: the Brits: I think I read somewhere that Phillip was scheduled to appear but like the Spanish and Belgians, pulled out. Phillip is, what, a second or third cousin?
Hey, anybody with a tiara on is fine by me, even if it was just Sophie! But I do sort of think that the British royals should send more important royals to some of these multi-royal events. Like, who'd they send to Mary and Fredrik's wedding? The Wessexes? It's almost as if they're snubbing them.
I just love that photo. How awsome. And her tiara is pretty darn nifty too!
I just read on another jewel blog that the jeweler of CPcss Mary's Australia-inspired tiara (the plant name escapes me at the moment) is still owned by the maker, but that Mary can wear it at her discretion. Wattle! That's the plant name, I believe.
Stunning! This looks so young, fresh and modern.
Oh, she looks gorgeous, and that group shot is just ADORABLE. I wonder what language they speak when they're all assembled like that?
