State Visit Gala: HRH Princess Marie

Now, now, Marie, don't glare at me like that.  I actually think that (from what I can see, anyway) that this dress is really nice.  And you've got Old Trusty on, so that's good, too.  An updo would be nice, but overall, not bad.  Really not bad!

(Seriously, though, if they're going to ask you to keep coming to so many official formal events, we do need to get someone to lend you another lovely tiara.  It's time.)

She really does have a face like a smacked arse here. And I was going to say I liked it, overall. Her hair just needed to be worn up, and she would have looked pretty damn good.
Maybe she's having a sulk until someone gets her a new tiara?

I know we all go on, but it is a fabulous tiara, and she does wear it very well. Although it does look better with her hair up.

It is a stunning tiara. My only qualm is that the necklace doesn't look great.

I went back to see "old trusty" and I agree that hair up like the previous shot would be more formal. Don't like the dress nor the necklace.

'Get me a new tiara and NOW'. She is having a serious pout in this shot, and I think she knows MH readers will see it and join in her appeal. Yep - like the others, I think it needs an updo and the necklace looks a bit insignificant - if you have a pendant that big, it needs to be suspended from something a bit more substantial than a chain from Elizabeth Duke.

I would put money that she is pregnant. They seriously need to look at the Sotheby's auction and consider some tiara acquisition.

  7. Ella says on :

Something about her face shape in this latest set of pictures made me wonder the same thing, Lisa. Maybe so? We'll see.

@ James, I read something somewhere about this pendant yesterday, and apparently it belonged to Joachim's gran and has big sentimental value, but she has put it on a new thinner chain. Well spotted that man!
