Royal Ascot 2010, Day 4: HM The Queen
Dare I say it -- I think we've got two new hats in a row from HM at Ascot! I can't find this little number in the archives, anyway -- I wish she'd brought it out sooner! The bright white and light blue are lovely together. The only thing I'd change? Maybe take away that froofy little baby's breath/crystal bead bit on the top. Just the hat and the pretty blue ribbon would be plenty.
(Also, LOL, what in the world do you think Philip's looking at?)

This is a classic! Prince Philip telling a fruity joke, and the Queen muttering "Philip! Do behave!" through her teeth.
And another new hat! Not as lovely as yesterday, but still very nice. I agree the blue band would have been enough though.
Yep - a very nice one. Not stand out lovely, she's got tons of others like this, (Such as this, which appears to be the same hat in neagative http://madhattery.royalroundup.com/?p=736#) but nice enough. Also agree... the sprigs could go.

I love this, and I don't even mind the sprigs! I feel so lucky- Ascot, Trooping and Vic's wedding all stuck together like this?
Hmmm. It's nice, but I'm not overly enamoured with this one. Very safe.
