Paola wore one of her go-to tiaras for the wedding; this is Queen Elisabeth's Diamond Bandeau Tiara, which was also worn by Princess Mathilde at her wedding to Paola's son, Prince Philippe. Every time they cut to Paola she was looking really miserable! Maybe the heat was getting to her. I quite like this tiara, but the all over beige is a bit dull...
Beige is very dull. Maybe this in a bright red?
The tiara's never been a favourite of mine. I think it looked better on Mathilde.
She just looks..blah compared to the other Queens.
I think she looks elegant. The dull color doesn't bother me.
She seems a very unhappy woman. She looked distracted and uncomfortable most of the time. Quite sad.
She needs to start letting the Duchess of Brabant wear this jewel. She really has been sour lately, it makes me sad to look at her. She used to such a stunning energetic miss thing once upon a time.
She does look proper miserable doesn't she. Not loving the beige either and the tiara is a bit lost in her hair - the nine provinces would have been better.
I don't think she had much makeup on. A little something around the eyes might have served to make her look a bit more perked up.
Maybe she's not feeling well, or is preoccupied with issues like the rest of us. While these people are undoubtedly privileged they are human beings and do not exist for losers to critique their tiaras and gowns. Would love to see some of your photos. Get a life.
