The Crown Princess of Sweden's Wedding: HRH Crown Princess Katherine of Serbia
Here's a new royal for the blog -- and a tiara mystery to be solved! This is Crown Princess Katherine of Serbia, wife of Crown Prince Alexander. Alexander's father, King Peter II, was the last king of Yugoslavia (now Serbia). Alexander and his family used to live in the United States -- Peter II is actually the only European monarch buried in America -- but in 2001, Alexander got both his Serbian citizenship and his royal palaces back.
However, I don't think this tiara looks anything like any of the Yugoslavian royal family's pieces -- I'm utterly stumped! Until we have more info, I'll just call it Crown Princess Katherine's Tiara -- but it could be new, old, bought, or borrowed, as far as I know!

She's such a little lady - and she had such ginormous hair it was hard to get a good look at the tiara. That's a lovely shot of her on the balcony.

The dress looked like she was trying to go for a mermaid style, but her body type wouldn't allow it...
I didn't know the Serbian RF had any tiara's left, but it looks nice. They are a lovely couple indeed.
The dress was just awful. I hope she wil fire her stylist, but I don't think she has one. Together with Mabel she was the worst dressed.
Eeeh that dress was a mistake, It makes her look as wide as she is tall. Never good.
From everything I have read, I have gathered the opinion that Princess Katherine is a wonderful philanthropist, tireless with charities. Good luck to them both. Maybe short in stature but a giant in the good heart department.
