The Crown Princess of Sweden's Wedding: HRH Princess Anna of Bavaria and HRH Princess Kelly of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha
Put your detective hats on, tiara sleuths! We've got two mystery German tiaras to deal with!

This is Princess Anna of Bavaria, wife of Prince Manuel of Bavaria (he's on the right in the glasses). Born a princess of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleberg, Anna married into the Bavarian royal family in 2005. The Bavarian and Swedish royals are very close: Prince Manuel's father, Prince Leopold, is one of King Carl Gustaf's best friends, and Carl Gustaf is also Manuel's godfather.
These German princelings don't bust out their baubles that often -- Anna didn't even wear a tiara at her own wedding! But this one is a Bavarian piece that we'll call Marie Therese's Diamond Tiara. Reader Juan Pablo has provided more provenance for the tiara in his comment on this post.
And next, we've got...

... Princess Kelly of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, the American-born wife of Hereditary Prince Hubertus of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha (that's him in the photo as well). Hubertus is a cousin of the Swedes through Carl Gustaf's mother, who was born Princess Sibylla of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha. Her tiara, Victoria Adelheid's Button Tiara, is an heirloom from Hubertus's great-grandmother, Duchess Victoria Adelheid of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha.
Thanks to lovely reader Juan Pablo for providing us with information about these tiaras!

Gosh, they are very pretty ladies - I particularly like Princess Kelly's mini-buttons. Anna's is a bit ninja-throwing-star for my taste.
Really hate Anna's, but she looks gorgeous!
Kelly's is very pretty.
The first tiara is a bavarian royal tiara which belonged to the last Queen of Bavaria, Marie Therese of Austria. Somehow it ended up in the so called spanish line of the bavarian royal house, and is now in the possesion of Princess Ursula, Anna´s mother-in-law.
The second one is a tiara that belonged to Duchess Victoria Adelheid of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, greatgrandmother of Prince Hubertus.
Welcome to the blog, Juan Pablo -- and thanks so much for the tiara information! I'm going to reflect those changes in the names of the tiaras in the post.
Your Welcome! I am really interested in german-austrian royal jewelry so it´s my pleasure to see these tiaras again!
One always imagined that Princess Kelly...or Princess Tracey or Princess Sharon would sound weird - but it doesn't really. Perhaps I wasted my time giving my daughter a semi-regal name - just in case. LOL!
Both ladies look splendid but Kelly's button tiara Im love with. People need to invite Kelly to more tiara events
Nice to see some german tiaras out and about! I acually quite like the SCG-button-tiara! I was spending allot of time trying to figure out who that was when I first saw the pictures! Thank you so much for providing me with this info!
I remember seeing pictures of King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia attending the wedding of Prince Hubertus and Princess Kelly a couple of years ago. Princess Kelly's father is a U.S. Naval officer and he wore his summer white naval uniform when he escorted his daughter down the aisle. Princess Kelly was a beautiful bride.
