The Crown Princess of Sweden's Wedding: HRH The Crown Princess of Denmark

Heeeeyyyy, everybody, Mary and Fred are in the hooooooouuuuuuuse!  And in my favorite of her tiaras, too!  It's a nice gesture that she wore Queen Ingrid's Ruby Parure Tiara, since Queen Ingrid was born Princess Ingrid of Sweden (and was King Carl Gustaf's aunt!). 

Fred's done pretty well in the hat department today, too -- he looks like he could have hopped right on that royal barge and fitted right in!

Mary's whole outfit was one of my favorites on the day -- maybe in a three-way tie with Tatiana and (of course) the bride for best of all!  Here's a better look at the gown...

    I thought it was hilarious to see Mary peeking over the guests in front of her to make sure her son was doing his job as the bridal party walked down the aisle...a Mom is a Mom, even if she's wearing a tiara!! Great dress!!

    I think there was a collective hattery cheer when we all saw she was wearing the rubies and not the wedding tiara! She looked absolutely stunning - that dress is so flattering, and it matched the carpets she was walking along as well. Clever girl!

    And I really hope that Frederick puts his snap shots up on Flickr for the rest of us to see!

    Wow, that dress is just gorgeous. There ceratinly was a collective cheer, even if I barely had the energy!! Too bad her purse doesn't match.

    So happy that she wore the Rubies!!! The dress was pretty and moved in such a lovely way but I'm not to keen on the colour combo's. Still, gorgeous couple and I love the pic of them walking to the church with Christian.

    I really wish she'd wear a deeper color. With her dark hair and eyes, she'd look good in dark colors. This tends to wash her out too much.

    I don't actually love the frock, the lace and the rest of it didn't work for me. Nor did the colour combo with the rubies. But overall she looked as beautiful as ever... I still love her!

    Whenever I see Crown Prince Frederik in this hat, it makes me think he's just stepped off the stage from performing in Gilbert and Sullivan's comic opera, "The Pirates of Penzance."
