The Duke of Parma's Wedding: HRH The Duchess of Parma
It's so appropriate that the most beautiful woman at this wedding is the bride, isn't it? Annemarie was already Duchess of Parma before today, but this religious wedding ceremony really seals her position as a royal bride.
The tiara is one we've seen before from the Dutch vaults: it's the pearl setting of the Emerald Parure Tiara, worn by Princess Laurentien at Frederik and Mary's wedding in 2004. Just gorgeous!

She looks lovely - it's such a flattering neckline on her. Hot crazy about the ruffles round the back of the head though, and I'm not hugely keen on this tiara - its a bit skinny for me. But she looks blissfully happy.
She's beautiful and very princessy in the top photo. I like the tiara quite a big and it suits her, gives her some height and doesn't overpower her. She also has good tiara hair with the "bumpit" behind it.
Oh my goodness, breathtaking! Now, I know that not everything can be turned back to William and Kate, but does anyone else think that Kate should wear something like this dress?

Very very pretty! I've always loved this tiara in its pearl and emerald form. It makes a lovely wedding tiara and the earrings are perfect too.

What a nice surprise to have these wedding photos! The BRW is exciting, but I am torn between the fun of lots of time to look forward to it and hating having to wait. But if we have some of these beautiful royal tiara weddings in the interim, it will make waiting easier. Very elegant and classic. Doesn't she just look so sincerely happy going into the church? Happy sigh!
I read on another board that the bride's veil was designed by an artist and is made of paper with hand painted flower motifs. This was a nod to the bride and groom's dedication to sustainability. I don't know about the rest of you, but the veil does not look like paper to me.
I love how the points of the tiara base and her dress neckline make a diamond shape that frames her face and decolletage (sp?). She looks fantastic. I guess one minor nit to pick is the bottom portion of the dress does look like it wasn't very easy to walk in.

The designer is Isabelle de Borgchrave. She is famous for her paper clostumes.She makes amazing things.
I really don't care for the height of those pearls in the tiara; think I'd like it better if her hair was more pouffed up on top to balance the pearls. I do like her overall look, though, and I love the neckline of the gown and how it flows in back.
