Oh this is very fabulous indeed! I love the perky bow, and the funnel neck on the coat is very nice.

(Minor Celeb Alert! The out-of-focus lady with the short hair is one of the presenters of the racing on Channel 4. Zara, friend of the stars..)

I love love love this. Fabulous, but not too frou-frou for a day at the races in March. She looks smashing, and gives me hope that she'll pull it out of the bag for her own wedding.
And she did well not to be photgrpahed with John McCririck if Channel 4 were sniffing round for royal approval.

I think she should stand beside Margarethe - 'Beam me up Scottie.' Trench coats are obviously very in right now in the UK.

Didn't we see Zara in this hat once before - maybe Christmas at Sandringham?

  5. jacc22 says on :

Sorry, I'm wrong. I was thinking of Zara's purple propeller hat - which is a cousin of this one, but much larger.

Makes me wonder though, do the frugal royals like The Princess Royal have their hats re-made, re-covered, re-bowed, re-flowered?

She sure looks happy. That hat looks to me to be a tad too dressy and formal to wear for an outdoor sporting event in March. It looks like a church or ladies luncheon hat. However with a smile like that, I dont think people analyzed her hat too much. It sure looks like she may have won a pound or two on the horses.

Her best look of the week. I love it. Fabulous perky little titfer.

  8. Lise says on :

    Lovely!

  9. Eliza says on :

Perfection! It's so whimsical and awesome for a day at the races.

    Love the earrings, too.

  10. Matthew says on :

The hat styling is a bit fashion-y, but in brown felt (?) it works for a cooler weather race-day topper. thumbs up.
