State Visit to Qatar - Katara Opera House: HRH Princess Máxima of The Netherlands

It's a brand-new Tiara Alert for Max!  We saw her sister-in-law, Laurentien, sporting Queen Emma's Diamond Tiara at CP Vic's wedding in Sweden, but this is the first time Maxima has worn it.  So glad she went for the all-diamond setting rather than ruby version -- the tiara looks so much better pimple-free, LOL!

Also: it's Sheikha Mozah!

Awww -- I love when my favorite royal ladies are pals! :)

    It lovely and all, but what impressed me the most was she managed to find appropriate undergarments for this magnificent dress!!! I actually saw the beading and not rumpled 'areas'.
    But the tiara is fab.

    Oh, but Mozah's wearing some knockout earrings for lack of tiara, though one would be lovely on her head. I'm not too crazy about the heavy beading on Max's gown; it's too busy with all the gorgeous jewels and somewhat detracts from the overall look. But I love her tiara hair! Maybe Letizia should take some pointers from this.

    Lovely!!!! Pimples are never good, so it's good that she switched it up. Max is quite a good tiara wearer.

    I LOVE it. Does this lady have great tiara hair or what? And the way this one emerges from her hair is just divine.
    And I absolutely agree with Kiri Anne. She wears that dress beautifully. And it is the kind of dress that can go horribly wrong.
    Maxima has always been one of my favourites, but now she's Number One!!

    Why do I feel so picky about this. I adored this dress when it was worn with the hat, but I feel the tiara doesn't go with it. And the tiara is a bit too narrow for her hairdo I ca't help feeling.

    But I just love how she gets access to the full vaults - and she obviously has loads of fun with the jewels. After all, what's the point being a princess if you don't get to play dress up!!
