She won't be royal for a few more months yet, but Charlene looked like a princess already at the royal wedding. Or at least a doll -- I swear, my Garden Party Wedding Barbie had a hat just like this one circa 1986! (And that's not really a negative thing -- I loved that Barbie!)

I really, really wish Charlene would start experimenting with color a little more, though -- everything lately seems so pale. This would have been so great in a brighter blue; it would have packed much more of a sartorial punch! But, as it is, lovely and demure.

Albert, ya done good. This one's got "Princess" written all over her - no training wheels needed! She's so chic it almost hurts. Like Ella, I wish she'd go for some color too. But she looks so fine, it's hard to mess with it.
She looks so regal. Hopefully she'll keep it up, and maybe get a stylist who can bring colour into her 'drobe and dress those swimmer's shoulders.
Perfection. Understated, classic, pretty. Bea and Eug - take note!
So elegant - less really is more with this lady. The big picture hat suits her classic movie-star looks, and the blue is gorgeous.
I was really gearing myself up for something like the Eva Peron costume she wore to the National Day celebrations, so I was pleasntly surprised by this. Yes, it is understated, but she looks fabulous. I would love to see her use some colour though.
Albert is marrying his mother - just a thought.
No, I don't think so. Grace has been dead for awhile.
Icy color for hopefully not an icy princess. She's getting into her groove with the elegant, classic look - a graceful swoop of a hat brim is all you need to elevate a look to new heights. Let's start experimenting with more color, Charlene. And, Yorkies, take notes, a lot of notes!!! I like the expression on her face; it somehow looks softer and less angular. Yes, it seems Albert's getting a winner!
She's so beautiful that I get irritated that no matter how bald and chubby you are, you will get the young, pretty girl as long as you have money (and of course, in this case, a title).
I thought this was a lovely look, one of my favorites on Charlene.
She looked lovely, just lovely and Albert looked very good. That coat looks so good on him and it's a nice change from the usual headwaiter's jacket he wears on most formal occasions.
I can kind of understand how she's just finding her feet as an almost princess. She may want to work carefully until she finds her groove. It may be understated and we may wish for more colour but at least she looks lovely.
