Helloooo? Tiara? Where are you?
S'time Mette-Marit got some bigger bling. Every time this one is apparently worn, it disappears even more. Such a shame. The frock more than makes up for it on this occasion, however! Gorgeous.
There's a tiara there? Could have fooled me. I love the dress too - particularly the way the light cream sash echoes the blue order sash. It looks both elegant and comfortable!
That's a beautiful grecian dress, and works well with the sash, but that tiara - well she's wearing it like an alice band. She really needs to make more of it... no, they need to give her a new one, that's what she needs!
I guess I'll be in the minority here, but I don't care for the color of Mette's dress at all. I feel it's too drab and matronly in color, although I like the flowing lines and cut. I'd prefer it better in a day suit perhaps with a beautiful contrasting hat. I can't tell if that's a peach or cream accent color, but I like it better and would have rather seen her in a gown that color. And if she perched that tiara any farther back on her head, it would become a hairclip. You can barely see it at all, even when she does wear it forward. Mette definitely needs a bigger tiara; she's certainly proven her worth to the royal family.
I going to break the habit of a lifetime and think that Mette-Marit looks a bit 'meh' in this rig out. The colour's dingy, the bit round her middle is too wide and is having an unfortunate lowering effect on her bosoms, and there are overall just too many sashes for comfort. And the shoes are the wrong colour. And the tiara is nigh-on invisible. I'm rather depressed by the whole thing.
I logged on to warn MM that her tiara was falling off the b ack of her head-but you already told her! She is clearly not a "bling" kind of girl, which is unfortunate, because she has the coloring and stature to make quite a splash-imagine her in something like the impressive tiara that MT wore to Victoria's wedding. Stunning!
Poor dear, she's a crown princess and almost has the same amount of tiaras as Princess Marie! This is a pretty tiara, but only with the right hairdo.
Afraid I have to agree with the others that MM missed on every count with this ensemble. Not even putting a fancy name on the dress such as "fawn with a cafe au lait flowing belt" can save it. It just looks blah.
The prince looks nice.
This is a very pretty dress; just not on MM.
And there's a tiara there? Couldn't tell...
Haakon looks great, though. What a handsome man.
I love this tiara but only when it's worn right. Like with grecian styled hair. Now it just looks bad. I don't like the gown either but with minor adjustments and chanching colour it would look really good.
Her aceccory named Haakon looks like he could look really good on my arm
I wish the tiara was more prominent. She's almost hiding it and it's so pretty yet, simple. Also as much as I love the dress style I feel like the colour is blending into her. Give me some wow, this is blah!
