State Visit from South Korea - State Banquet: HRH Princess Marie of Denmark

We've got the (gorgeous, of course) same old, same old tiara from Marie here: the Diamond Floral Tiara.  It's super amazing, really, but come on, what's a princess got to do to get a second tiara to toss into the rotation?

    I can't help but wonder how the second wife of the (formerly) second in line to the throne got such a nice tiara compared to the Crown Princess. I'd love to see this one on Mary.

    Marie is on something of a roll at the moment. It's Old Trusty, to be sure, but I don't think I've ever seen her look better in it. She's looking very...polished. She's got the sash right for once, her hair is under control, her dress isn't a nightie...good going Marie!!

    I was disappointed that she changed her hair from earlier that day at the airport. This tiara is a stunner. I'm also a little baffled as to why the 2nd wife of the 2nd son seems to have scored the better tiara.

    This tiara sends me into a tizzy, I think it's that gorgeous and can't understand either why Mary isn't in possession of it. It almost has a Strathmore Rose motif to it. But I guess we shouldn't begrudge Marie everything! What bothers me is the pendant; every time she wears it I always feel that it requires a sturdier, thicker chain. This chain is too delicate, IMO, for such a heavy pendant and something a bit more substantial would set it off nicely.

    I agree with Patricia that this beautiful tiara reminds me of the Strathmore Rose tiara. That's good company to be in. It looks beautiful on Marie. Does anyone know her age? She looks very young in the photo taken at the airport. LOvely young woman.
