Trooping the Colour 2011: HRH Princess Eugenie of York

No Yorkie double act at Trooping this year -- we've got Eugenie going solo today.  But I just know her mother had something to do with that Fergilicious bow stuck to her daughter's forehead.  Shudder.

(Also, how adorable is Lady Louise here?  Love that she's out and about more with the fam lately!)

    While it's lovely to see Lady Louise making more public appearances, I hate to be the bearer of bad news about Eugenie's appearance. First of all, her hat looks like an overturned bowl and is too small for her head; she needs a brimmed topper. The one she wore at the Derby suited her so well. The white bow looks like a cockeyed propeller and the color of the entire outfit is just too drab. Finally, the hair....as always. Perhaps she's trying to emulate Catherine's long, flowing locks, but Euge just doesn't have the fullness and body to her hair as does Kate. It needs style, a brush and maybe a haircut if there's no improvement. She really looks so much like Prince Andrew here, BTW.

    I like this! I don't love it, but it's safe, and kind of cute. If only she would smile and go for an updo.

    She just looks a bit of a mess. The hat is a bit odd, it's like something my Gran had in the 50s. And the jacket looks a bit too small. Oh Euge, sort it out love, I think you're fab, but your outfits are a bit random.

    Eugenie looks a little smushed. The hat looks smushed on her head and she looks smushed into the outfit and the carriage.

    She's a pretty girl, there has to be a happy medium between her wedding outfit and something like this...

    Her default look seems to be "Got up late and didn't have time to get ready properly,". She is a student, so maybe that's what happened. And that's fine, except she's in a position where she'll get judged on her appearance, and she really needs to make more of an effort to at least look tidy if she wants a quiet life!
