And now, saving the best for last: the blushing bride!  And a Tiara Alert!  I was so nervous she wasn't going to wear one, but of course the new Mrs. Tindall wouldn't let us down!  (Well, technically she's now Mrs. Michael Tindall -- it was announced today that she'll be keeping her name, so Zara Phillips she'll remain.)

As for the tiara: it's Princess Andrew's Meander Tiara, an heirloom once owned by Zara's great-grandmother, Princess Andrew of Greece and Denmark (Prince Philip's mother).  Somehow, it's just perfect for Zara, the royal granddaughter with the Greek name -- modern, simple, and low-key, but still totally gorgeous.

Congratulations, Zara!  May you and Mikey T have many years of sporting happiness!

And Princess Anne officially continues the trend of wearing random feathers in her hair at her children's weddings.  Clearly she made Sir Tim go and forage for these outside this morning.  God love ya, Annie!

Have we seen this pinky-peach number on Lil before?  It's sprouting some slightly unsightly hairs (say that five times fast!), but other than that, I like!

Learned something new this week -- apparently Chuck 'n Cams aren't the only royals who use their Scottish titles in Scotland.  Who knew?  So, for those who recoil at Kate's Duchess title: today, for a few Scottish hours, you get a Countess.  Enjoy!

As for the hat: so far, I think everyone but me loves this.  Let's face it, kids: it's a potato chip.  A floral potato chip, but a potato chip nonetheless.  (Pardon me, Brits: a potato crisp.)  Insert "bet you can't eat just one" or "once you pop, you can't stop" jokes here!

Lady Sarah's rocking the same hat look she's been wearing for a while now, but I can't blame her, really -- she seems like a no-nonsense kind of Windsor, and when a hat works, well, it works.  (But ... one more wearing of a little saucer like this, and I may have to declare a moritorium, black-beret-style!)

As for Autumn, who's hiding behind her hubs in this pic -- from what I can see, I like the brim/hate the round crown. Eh.

Our Soph is really on a roll lately, isn't she?  This is just the right balance of "I'm a guest at this wedding and the bride's aunt, so I need to look good, but you shouldn't really be looking at me" and "I'm a royal British countess, okay? WE WEAR AWESOME HATS."  Not loving the headband anchor of this one, but that's a minor qualm.  I mean, LOOK:

I can't decide WHY I like this hat.  I shouldn't.  It's a weird saucer/fez combo with random feathers and a chocolate swirl cone motif.  But I do.  Am I nuts?  Am I?

Yee-haw!  Kate has now officially hurdled yet another obstacle of princess-dom: wearing local headgear with aplomb.  Though I've gotta say -- I sort of think William wins this hat-off!  Doesn't he look weirdly natural in western wear?
