Albert and Charlene's Reception: HI&RH The Margravine of Baden

Valerie Baden's evening gown may look a little like a dress that one of my Barbie dolls wore way back in the day, but her tiara is far more exciting -- a Laurel Wreath Tiara that has been in the Baden family for at least two generations.  The tiara was apparently worn by Valerie's mother-in-law, Princess Theodora of Greece and Denmark (elder sister of Prince Philip).  Laurel wreath tiaras are some of my absolute favorites!

    I agree, I'd like to see this tiara close-up. It looks beautiful. Can't say the same thing about The Margravine's velour bathrobe though...And that man , the Margrave, is Prince Charles' first cousin!
