Albert and Charlene's Reception: HRH Crown Princess Margarita of Romania

I like the Romanian royal family's Greek Key Tiara in general, but something about it isn't working for me here.  Maybe it's a little too low on Margarita's head?  Maybe it doesn't quite coordinate with the dress?  Help me, hatters!

    Her tiara is too low and hew bangs are pushed down. Kind of like Diana on her wedding day.

    The tiara's definitely squashing her hair and is worn too low on her brow. She doesn't seem to have the volume needed for this substantial piece.

    I think people may think the tiara looks placed wrongly but to me, it looks like she's wearing it more in the style that it was made to be worn, like a bandeau. There's pics of her Great-Grandmother wearing it in that fashion. So maybe because she's wearing it in an old fashioned way, it looks odd. But anyway, it's a very pretty, substantial piece.

    I've seen pictures of Queen Helen of Romania wearing this tiara WAY down on her forehead. I think it looks very nice, as does Margarita. And Prince Radu looks quite elegant himself.
