Albert and Charlene's Reception: HRH The Duchess of Brabant

Still love the Diamond Laurel Wreath Tiara on Mathilde, but I'd still love to see another tiara added to her collection eventually.  The beautiful diamond brooch that Mathilde wore to the wedding service was a gift to her from Queen Fabiola -- maybe eventually we'll see a former queen offer a future queen one of her magnificent tiaras, too?

    This may be her only tiara, but at least it's a very pretty one! And I wouldn't count on anyone getting Queen Fabiola's jewels. She's financing the building of a convent. I wouldn't be surprised if she puts in her will to have them auctioned off and the money given to the convent.

    I have always loved her Diamond Laurel Wreath tiara. It reminds me so much of one that Faberge made so long ago and it is called almost the same name: the Diamond Laurel Tiara.

    I wonder if the artisans who made this lovely tiara used Faberge's as a model?!?

    Princess Mathilde always looks so elegant and polished whenever I see her in photos. I like her style!
