Start your engines, hatters -- Katie Cambridge is out and about again, going red at yet another friend's wedding.  At first glance I thought she'd recycled her maple leaf fascinator (well, yesterday was the first day of autumn, after all), but no, this one's quite different.

Eh, overall, I'm a little underwhelmed.  Fascinators like these are a dime a dozen at a British wedding.  Thoughts?

Happy birthday to the maddest of the Norwegian royal hatters, Princess Märtha Louise!  Here she's pictured attending the wedding of Prince Joachim and Princess Marie of Denmark a few years ago, wearing her standby sparkler, the King Olav's Gift Tiara.  But, oh, the hats!

An interesting millinery choice by Mary for a rainy-day ship naming ceremony -- have we ever seen her in a cloche before?  I like the vintage touch on principle, but something just seems a little off.  I wonder if the outfit isn't a little too casual for the hat?  But really, what can I say.  Yesterday, I went out shopping in the rain looking far, far less chic than this...
