Nobel Prize King's Dinner 2011: HRH The Grand Duchess of Luxembourg

Look past the rather unfortunate tiara hair happening here -- let's have a referendum on the Pearl and Diamond Choker Tiara, shall we?  I know I've said positive things about it in the past, but the more I look at it, the more I think it sort of looks like porch lattice with solar lights stuck on top.  And you?

    The tiara I would gladly accept and wear if given to me--the hairdo, I would not.

    IDK, maybe some royal ladies are so accustomed to wearing priceless tiaras that they just plunk it on a hornet's nest of hair and think they're doing them justice. MT looks like she just rolled out of bed, stuck her hair up any old way and plopped on the tiara du jour for an evening out. If someone handed me this tiara, I'd definitely do it more justice than MT.

    Perhaps there was a cocktail hour before the dinner and MT loosened up. Anyway, it looks like she's having fun. A real person!
