How's this for a surprise Jubilee guest -- Alexandra! In the Alexandrine Diamond Drop Tiara! I do so love when former royal spouses stay friendly -- and continue to wear their tiaras out and about!

But it's so ... perched! It looks quite unstable. Maybe it would look better further foward on her head.
I think the issue here is that Alexandra no longer has tiara hair, since she's now wearing it short, so this gives her problems with volume on the few occasions she does trot her tiara out. If she were still in royal life, I'm sure her hair would be longer for tiara events. In any case, this tiara is stunning, she looks glamorous and she lucked out by being able to keep it.
Oh how my heart skipped a beat when I saw the countess! She is such panache it kills me. Even though I miss "Princess Alexandra" so very much, her and Martin make such a lovely couple. I am glad to see her cut such a glamourous figure in the Danish colours and even though the tiara is a bit crooked I love the way its perched up high on her head like old times. Seeing it live is something else, all the diamonds shake with each movement and it makes glitter for days.
I think it's the tiara itself. While it is absolutely stunning, no matter how Alexandra tries to place it on her head,it still tends to appear to just balance or "perch" on her head.
I adore all tiaras, one or two that I'm not in love with, but this one is just so happy and joyful and wants to be mine. Please!
