Danish Ruby Jubilee - Gala Banquet: HRH The Crown Princess of Norway

The Diamond Daisy Tiara for Queen Daisy's jubilee ... a nice tribute, but I can't help but wish we'd seen something else on M-M.  This tiara is an absolute workhorse, and it deserves a break!

    All I can say about this tiara is that it would be more suitable for a young princess like the next post, Princess Theodora. It seems to get smaller every time I see it. Even Theodora's tiara was bigger than this. M-M needs a tiara, or several, that's more suitable to her role as crown princess.

    I think part of the problem is the way MM is wearing it here - like a hairband almost flat on her head and going down teh sides behind her ears, rather than crown-style rising up and circling her head nearer the top. This way definitely makes it look less significant even than it is!

    I can only conclude that she doesn't like tiaras-even on the few occasions she wears something other than this one, like the amethysts, she all but throws it away-off the back of her head, or with bad tiara hair. Oh MM-throw us a bone!

    She looks so polished. I like the clean, unfussy line of this. Love it every time.
