Now that's more like the Máx we know and love!  How great is this dark pink hat with those lime green earrings?  Love love love it!

    Yes, excellent hat and such attractive colours - and in this picture, at least, Maxima's currently so-distracting messy haircut isn't really apparent!

    Love the hat ... but those earrings! Maybe she confused today's hat with tomorrow's earrings when she was getting ready. They look a bit like tinsel, but no doubt will turn out to be peridot or somesuch.

    I don't care for the earrings, either; they're very bulky, bright and clash with the pinkish/cranberry tones although they most likely are peridots. Probably she wore those colors as a nod to the Oman flag, but I think a neutral outfit would have coordinated better with the green. But I do like the oversized hat and jacket; one of Max's better looks on the trip.

    I have to wonder if she has some skin issues/concerns given all the wide brimmed hats she wears in the warmer climes. She can pull it off for sure, but it's just a thought.
