Danish Ruby Jubilee - Diplomatic Corps Dinner: HM The Queen of Denmark

It's the Emerald Parure Tiara, part of the Danish crown jewels, for Daisy at the dinner -- love the way the emerald stones work with the teal dress.

My goodness...I love that tiara and Daisy looks beautiful in it. I wouldn't have thought that teal fabric would go with emeralds, but they do and they look fabulous together! I think it's just me, and I honestly mean no disrespect to Her Mag, however her hair style and very pale complexion with the bright red lipstick reminds me of F.F. Coppola's Dracula starring Gary Oldman!

I think the emeralds with the teal are fabulous. Need to remember this combination next time I have some emeralds to dress ip in!

Love the tiara. And I don't mean any disrespect of course, but I was always told to put on all my intended jewelry and then take at least one off before leaving the house.. not sure this wouldn't have helped here.

I love these emeralds. I do love a good emerald. But I wish Annie hadn't planted that Dracula likeness ib my head... *cannot shift it*!!!

I must be the only person around who ranks the Danish emeralds near the bottom of their list of favourite emerald tiaras. The brooch and earrings are fine but it always looks like pieces were removed from the tiara for cleaning and they forgot to put 'em back on. As for the necklace, it would look so much better without the square drops.

I have had a look at a full-length shot of the Queen in this outfit and wouldn't change a thing. The Queen is tall, it's a big and beautiful dress and the occasion called for plenty of bling. One shot showed her about to make a grand entrance and she looked magnificent. A lot of the other participants were wearing multiple orders and medals too. We commoners may need to moderate our jewelry but I think the Queens need to pile it on. I want to see every last gem in every royal collection. My ideal in this regard is Queen Mary. Tiaras, brooches, earrings, stomachers, bracelets you name it. Fantastic.
