Well, hatters, Paddington rides again…
(Last time I mentioned that this hat looked like Paddington Bear’s chapeau, I was roundly chastized. Let me say this: one, it looks like it was darned cold up in Newfoundland, and admittedly, I’ll bet HRH’s ears were nice and toasty in this hat. And two, I’m sorry, but it really does look like a hat dear Paddington might choose for a ski trip. Anyway.)
Oh pish-posh. It does look like a Padington hat. There are ways to wear warm hats and be stylish. The Scandinavian royals manage regularly!
It’s just bad all the way round. The suit looked like it was twenty years old and somebody better call Paddington to alert him that one of his hats are missing.
I don’t mind this hat. It’s a cold weather hat and the crushed effect makes it less serious. The color palate is perfect on the DoC, but her make-up seems a bit orange…it could be the photo.
It’s ugly, but perfect for the weather in Newfoundland. I guess she’s doing what we should do: dress for the weather, not for the fashion. Too bad.
Somewhere some elderly gentleman is missing a suit coat from his closet. It looks like it was made from that. I like the style of the hat but not the fabric. The fur trim is okay.
Camilla is what I like to think off as ‘proper posh’; as the utterly wonderful Deborah, Duchess of Devonshire put it, “I buy my clothes at agricultural shows and in Paris — there’s nothing much in between I find.” Definitely one of the latter, looks like she’s had it for twenty years and wears it to go shooting, but it suits her style, and I bet it’s warm

I have just seen all the clothes that HRH The Duchess of Cornwall wore in Canada and I thought they were all very attractive, stylish and I came on your site trying to find out if anyone sold any of the hat styles she wore.
I thought she looked great on all occasions. I am looking for a knock off of the furry blue hat she wore and which reminded me of one I wore years ago in Toronto and loved both the hat and how it made me look. It did great things for her as well. For the eternal detractors, grown yp!
