Shortly after launching MH, I made the decision to include some small, (hopefully) unobtrusive advertising on this blog as a way to try to help defray the costs of my web hosting.  I'm not in this to make a big profit, and I won't be incorporating advertising that detracts from the actual content of the blog.  (I hate when people do that.)  This blog will always be primarily about snarking on royal hats, never about trying to make the big bucks.

If you'd like to help support Mad Hattery, here are four easy-peasy ways to do so!

1. Click on an ad!

I use Google Adsense as a way to try to monetize the blog without adding big, annoying ads to the space.  You can find Adsense ads at the bottom of hattery posts.  I don't control which ads Google displays -- they have fancy-schmancy algorithms and things that fit their ads to the content of the pages -- but if you see something that interests you, feel free to give it a click!  Each click helps to add to the revenue I earn from the program.

2. Buy a book!

Or a DVD!  Or an engagement ring!  Or a lawnmower!  Or anything that's sold by Amazon.com.  Through Amazon's Associates program, a small percentage of purchases at Amazon after clicking on a link from this site go toward helping support the blog.  I've included some links to products I think you might like -- tiara books and other royal tidbits -- but you can also use the banner toward the bottom of the sidebar to go directly to the site, and purchases will still help benefit MH.

3. Become a Sponsor!

I've had several queries recently about placing advertisements on the blog, so I've decided to open up the opportunities for individuals to place a small, sponsored ad on the blog at a competitive rate.  If you're interested in becoming a blog sponsor by advertising your website or product on MH, please inquire about rates and placement information at ellakayblogs@gmail.com.

4. Grab some MH goodies!

Mad Hattery now has its own internet shop!  Head on over to peruse our small range of T-shirts, bags, and other accessories.  You're already spending tons of time hatting about on the site ... now get yourself a mousepad or a coffee mug to show your hattery pride!
