Here's a new hatter for the blog -- an not-quite queen!

This is Queen Margarita of Bulgaria, wife of the deposed king of Bulgaria, Simeon II (that's him on the right).  Simeon had already lost his throne by the time he married Margarita, so she's never been a reigning queen.  Too bad, too -- the Bulgarians called their kings/queens "tsar" and "tsarita" -- so we would have had a Tsarita Margarita running around Europe!  Oh, well.

I really love Marg's outfit here -- the coat dress is beautiful and the hat is interesting without being too strange.  Lovely!
