Here's a new princess for the blog!

This is Princess Maria, wife of Prince Konstantin-Assen of Bulgaria, who is the youngest son of King Simeon and Queen Margarita.  Like the wives of all of the Bulgarian princes, Maria is a Spaniard; she also has Basque heritage.  A few years after this wedding, they welcomed one of the few sets of royal twins (soon to be joined by Fred and Mary's pair).

I really like her hat, but I'm not sure about the pairing of the more modern, stylized hat with the floral dress.  Maybe with a more tailored dress?  (Also, do you think she has her lunch in that purse?)
