Start your engines, hatters, it's the second Tiara Alert event of the weekend!  This is the second blog outing for Princess Elisabeth in her tiara -- Princess Thyra's Sapphire Tiara.  It's a bit hard to see in this photo, but this tiara is really growing on  me, I have to say.  I sort of think this is what CP Mary's wedding tiara aspires to be...

Another appearance from one of our newer hatters -- this is Princess Elisabeth, cousin to Queen Margrethe, attending a service of thanksgiving for the Queen at Christiansborg Castle.  It's a simple hattery choice, but I think it's a flattering one.

It's a new year and a new hatter, everyone!  This is Princess Elisabeth of Denmark, Queen Margrethe's first cousin and the last person in the line of succession to the Danish throne.  She's also wearing a new sparkler for the blog: Princess Thyra's Sapphire Tiara.  Thyra, a sister to King Christian X of Denmark and King Haakon VII of Norway, had no children, and she left this tiara to her niece, Princess Caroline-Mathilde.  Elisabeth, Caroline-Mathilde's daughter, later inherited the tiara.

It reminds me a bit of the Edward VII Ruby Tiara in Sweden.  What do all of you think?
