Prince William's Wedding: The Lady Saltoun
Here's a brand-new hatter for our ranks: this is Flora Fraser, the Lady Saltoun. She's the widow of Captain Alexander Ramsay of Mar, who was the son of Princess Patricia of Connaught and a great-grandson of Queen Victoria.
I like that she's wearing a hat that very much reflects her name, but something about this unfortunately reminds me of a toilet paper cover that my gran had in the '80s -- which is too bad, because Flora sounds like she might be something of a badass rather than a floral granny. After all, she holds her title in her own right and is Chief of Clan Fraser. Whoa!
