We're back in familiar tiara territory with Theodora tonight: this is the Antique Corsage Tiara that she wears most often. It's a lovely piece, really similar to the Floral Birthday Tiara worn by the SWB ladies.
What I'm actually more interested in here, though, is the order -- have we seen Theodora wear one before? Is it a Greek one? (Surely Constantine can't give a Greek order to a princess born after he was deposed, right?) I just can't recall seeing her with one before, so please feel free to enlighten me.

Brace yourselves, hatters: this is the jaw-dropper of the evening!
This tiara, Queen Sophia's Diamond Tiara, has not been seen in four decades. Say it with me: four decades. It was last worn by Queen Friedrike, mother of the former King Constantine of Greece and Queen Sofia of Spain, in the 1960s. Most royal watchers believed that Friedrike sold the tiara at auction in the 1970s after the Greek monarchy was deposed, but apparently not! (Though I've seen some speculation that it was indeed sold and repurchased by M-C's father; there's no concrete evidence to support that theory, however.) Queen Anne-Marie has never worn the tiara in public, so it makes its brilliant reappearance on Marie-Chantal.
The tiara itself is pure Victorian decadence; its first wearer was Sophie of Prussia, granddaughter of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. It's a massive, massive piece -- almost too big in this form for Marie-Chantal to wear, it seems. But I'm so beyond over the moon about its reappearance that I don't care about the fit or the hairstyle or anything else -- it's a royal heirloom tiara back from oblivion, everybody! Hooray!

No Greek rubies tonight -- instead, it's the imposing Emerald Parure Tiara. I mean, I guess you can't go wrong with emeralds this size ... I was just hoping for rubies!

I like Theodora's hat on principle here -- a nice, structural beret, even if it is a bit too large for her. But really, let's go three inches longer on the skirt for a church service, don't you think?

I think I like this -- not sure what the extra shelf-y piece is for on the side, but chic and dramatic otherwise. I feel like M-C gets the best of both worlds in some ways -- she's a member of a larger royal family, and she has the flair of a crown princess, but since the Greeks aren't a reigning house, she doesn't have to be as conservative.

It's not a pillbox! Hip, hip, hooray! Liking the chocolate brown/purple combo, too.

Looks like Auntie Daisy loaned a tiara to Princess Theodora for tonight's concert -- this is the Danish Diamond and Turquoise Bandeau Tiara, once owned by Theodora's grandmother, Queen Ingrid. So cool to see it on one of Ingrid's Greek granddaughters!

Here's a great close-up of Marie-Chantal's own Diamond Fringe Tiara. It's a bit short for me, as fringes go, but I love how full and sparkly it is!

Really similar to the fascinator that she wore to Prince Philip's 90th birthday service at Windsor -- but this whole ensemble is aging her quite a bit, I think.

No surprise here -- a pillbox hat on Anne-Marie. I can see that she's going for classic with this shape, as she does so often, but I can't help but wish she'd mix things up a bit on the hattery front now and then.
