No Greek rubies tonight -- instead, it's the imposing Emerald Parure Tiara.  I mean, I guess you can't go wrong with emeralds this size ... I was just hoping for rubies!

No surprise here -- a pillbox hat on Anne-Marie.  I can see that she's going for classic with this shape, as she does so often, but I can't help but wish she'd mix things up a bit on the hattery front now and then.

The Greek rellies were out in full force for today's service.  Here we've got Princess Theodora in the center of the photo, wearing some sort of black shower scrubber as a fascinator, and her mother hiding just to Theo's right, in the same cream-colored pillbox that she wears to lots of these family birthday events.  (And MC, but we'll talk about her in a sec.)

Also -- Philippos!  Why hasn't someone tried to set him up with Eugenie yet?  Too closely related, perhaps, even for royals?

I just know we've seen this cream-colored pillbox before on A-M -- I'm really missing the MH archives right now! Anyone remember?  (Now that I've looked back -- nothing exactly like this, but lots of close relatives in the hattery department.)

Regardless, it's fine -- it would be boring, I think, but the bow saves it.

Had a minor freak out in the live post over this little number on Anne-Marie ... I initially thought it was black, and mourning garb at a christening just isn't the thing.  But it's navy, so we're good.

Like her sisters, A-M is recycling her wardrobe from last April's big birthday celebrations for Daisy.  I think the hat's placed at a much more flattering angle here.  Don't love the little bow, but we can't have everything, I guess!

It's a sister act in Denmark today!  Princess Benedikte and Queen Anne-Marie teamed up to reopen the Queen Anne-Marie Center for the Elderly, a nursing facility in Copenhagen.  I love seeing them together!

So: hats!  I love the shape of Anne-Marie's topper, but I don't understand the black-and-white hat band (it's almost zebra print, really) with the plaid jacket.  Our dear Ben's got on a hat very similar to a fabulous one that CP Mary wore on last year's state visit to Vietnam -- but I don't really love it as is.  Maybe in a deeper color (a plum/magenta like the suit?) and without the bow?

Good hats or not, it's really nice to see Anne-Marie back in her birth country.  I've often wondered: why didn't the Greeks relocate to Denmark after they were forced into exile?  Constantine is of Danish descent just like his wife.  Thoughts?

The leopard print hat band rides again!  Constantine and Anne-Marie were out this morning in Spetses, apparently making a last-minute check at the cathedral (and avoiding the super-excited Greek press -- check out the mike on the right, LOL!).  Let's just hope this isn't the only hattery we're getting today!

The former Greek royals have already arrived in Greece ahead of Prince Nik's big day next week, and what better way to let off some pre-wedding steam than with a little sailing jaunt?

A-M's casual hat here is perfect for a trip out on the yacht, but something about the leopard print band is just cracking me up.  It's as if she's reminding us that she may be an elegant (former) queen, but she's still Daisy's little sis!

HRH The Crown Princess of Sweden and Mr. Daniel Westling

Well, kids, yesterday we partied hardy in the wedding live posts, and today we get to have a tiara fiesta!  I've compiled all of the tiara entries for the royal guests at Crown Princess Victoria's wedding to Daniel Westling (now Prince Daniel) in this entry.

The wedding, of course, took place in Stockholm yesterday.  The couple has been together since 2002, when Daniel became Victoria's personal trainer.  Love blossomed, and on their wedding day, Daniel became royal.  During their balcony appearance, Victoria thanked the people of Sweden for giving her a prince.

And now, we'll all just have to wait to see how long it takes before the pitter-patter of little royal feet are heard in Haga Palace!
