Have we seen this pinky-peach number on Lil before? It's sprouting some slightly unsightly hairs (say that five times fast!), but other than that, I like!

You know, I am not a big fan of peach as a general rule, but I love love love this on Victoria. She looks smashing! (And, as is always true with the Bernadottes, her hair is amazing. They need to lend their hairstylists out to the other royals for big occasions.)

It's a sad day, hatters -- somebody's final thrown HM in the slammer for wearing the dreaded Peach Fuzz one too many times! Alas!

LOL, no, just kidding. I don't think they can even throw the Queen in the slammer -- it's her slammer, after all, isn't it?
She's just outside the doors of Westminster Abbey, palling around with the Abbey's dean, Rev. John Hall, before the Commonwealth Day Observance Service.

Seriously, though, blech, ugh, Peach Fuzz. Please retire this one, Angela Kelly!
(Sidenote: Speaking of John Hall, how about letting him take you on a little pre-Royal Wedding tour of the Abbey, hm? Fun!)

How fortuitous that HM wore a hat I'd rather ignore (Peach Fuzz, hmph) to Westminster Abbey on a day I'm thinking a lot about that particular church! Peach Fuzz is a lot less offensive when I'm paying much more attention to amazing views like this one...

... to get myself psyched up for the royal wedding that will take place here on April 29th! I knew the Abbey was the best choice for the big day -- so exciting! I mean, how beautiful will Kate's wedding dress look in these surroundings?

Only about a hundred and fifty days to go! I've updated the royal wedding countdown clock accordingly. Hooray! ![]()

Oh, no -- my fuzzy nemesis is back!

And by fuzzy nemesis, clearly I mean Peach Fuzz, not Lil. Is it possible that it has gotten even fuzzier and more Muppet-like since its last outing??? The color is still great on HM, who looks smiley and fab (except for, erm, that lipstick she seems to have gotten on her royal chompers), but good lord, give the hat a haircut!

Okay, it's official: I think Daisy has found her optimal hat shape. Small enough that it's not overpowering, close-fitting enough so that she doesn't look completely bald, and so flattering to her face. I love the cream/peach color pairing here, too! Bravo!

While all of the other Brits were out voting at the polls today, HM was opening a brand-new military building in London wearing her Peach Fuzz hat. (Think she's ever wished she could vote? Maybe she recruits a lady-in-waiting or a corgi to smuggle down to the polling station and cast one for her? Now I'm thinking about that scene in The Queen where she talks with the portrait painter about voting...)
I really like the peachy color in this photograph, but I'm still not on board with the fuzz. It just sort of looks like the hat and the coat are slowly growing and might eventually need a shearing of some sort. More peach, less fuzz, and I think we'd have a winner here!
(For those of you who are following the elections in the UK like me but, also like me, aren't totally up on exactly what role HM takes in the process, the BBC has a helpful little article on what the monarchy's role is in a hung parliament. Check it out!)

Help me, hatters, I can't decide: is this the same hat that we saw back in November, or a different hat in a different color but in exactly the same shape? I can't decide if it's the lighting throwing me off or just what...

The Peach Fuzz hat is out and about again today. This hat is not growing on me, Hatters. It's fine and all, I suppose, but I don't love the color or the texture this time around. I'm not sure why I liked it so much better last time HM wore it. Oh, hattery tastes, you are so fickle...
It's a two-for-one treat today -- we not only get HM in a new (or rarely seen, perhaps) hat, we also get an appearance of one of my favorite odd royal accessories -- the clear plastic see-through umbrella! Perfect to make sure the masses of Norfolk can properly see you while still keeping your crown (or the crown, as it may) nice and dry.
I like this peachy-pink color on The Queen, and I especially like that the hat is both textured and embellished without being ridiculous -- quite the feat, that!
