Our other royal hatter-in-residence at today's Jubilee event is the always-lovely CP Mary, in a hat we last saw on the blog during Margrethe's 70th birthday celebrations in 2010.  (In fact, I believe we've got a repeat of the entire outfit, even down to the jewelry.)  But I don't mind -- out of all of Mary's tall-crown hats, I think this one might be my favorite.

No Marie at these events, sadly -- but she gets a pass, because she's about to give Daisy the best Jubilee gift of all, an eighth grandchild!  I've got my fingers crossed for another little Danish princess...

I could have sworn we'd chatted about this mess of a turban on the blog before, but I think it's actually sort of a cross between the turban from the Big Fat Cambridge Wedding, the straw hat Tornado, and some leftover Christmas tinsel.  And yet ... I sort of love it.  Especially from this angle:

I really thought we'd had this hat on the blog before, but I think maybe I was mixing it up with this one.  (Or maybe it's the same hat with some extra floofy stuff hot-glued to the top?)  Anyway, not a bad hat, but maybe a bit far back on the head?

However, I'd like that scarlet coat sent straight to my house at the designer's earliest convenience.

Have we seen this pinky-peach number on Lil before?  It's sprouting some slightly unsightly hairs (say that five times fast!), but other than that, I like!

(I know, I know.  All of this millinery economizing is great for the pocketbook and the monarchy's image.  But it is TERRIBLE for a hat blogger.  Grab that Duchy cash and get shopping, Cams!  We need something new to talk about!)
