Our other royal hatter-in-residence at today's Jubilee event is the always-lovely CP Mary, in a hat we last saw on the blog during Margrethe's 70th birthday celebrations in 2010. (In fact, I believe we've got a repeat of the entire outfit, even down to the jewelry.) But I don't mind -- out of all of Mary's tall-crown hats, I think this one might be my favorite.
No Marie at these events, sadly -- but she gets a pass, because she's about to give Daisy the best Jubilee gift of all, an eighth grandchild! I've got my fingers crossed for another little Danish princess...

Let's kick off our Garter Day 2011 coverage with some Kents, shall we? Specifically: Alex and Eddie. Of course, I love the hats -- but I love the expressions on their faces even more. Clearly they've just seen Carol Thatcher emerging from St. George's Chapel:

ETA: Okay, the photo agency dated the pictures wrong -- Carol wasn't there today in this spectacular get-up, unfortunately. Still funny, though. Anyway, any guesses as to what else the Kent sibs may have spied?
